Story, Boards and Art Book Updates!

Not long ago, the team returned from Cairo after a research trip. Over the last couple of summer months in Cape Town, Shof and Nadia have focused on an update to the boards and story for the feature (did we mention Shof moved to Cape Town to work more closely with Nadia on the short? He did!).

Previously, these story sessions were done via Zoom, over the course of a year. The chemistry of in-person story workshopping has been invaluable, and the film's plot, characterization, cinematography, pacing, and themes have progressed immeasurably.

And here is a review session with the indomitable Ingrid (our Producer) for a story review and strategy meeting for the short film, which we'll now be turning our attention to.

Lastly, here's a sneak peek at the layout of the art book! 

We're very excited that we'll be working with the exceedingly talented designer, Hye Mardikian, on the book's design! Hye worked with us on one of our previous books, New Masters, and their eye is second to none!
